Karl studied at the Gaiety School of Acting and the Margie Haber Studio in Los Angeles. Theatre Credits include: Phildenstern in MACBECKS (Olympia and Cork Opera House) Superfluous, Packie Bonnerus and Keano in I, KEANO (Olympia & National Tour), Billy in EEJIT OF LOVE (Dublin Fringe Festival), Elvis O’Toole in ALADDIN (Gaeity), Sean in THE HAPENNY BRIDGE (Point Theatre), Dandini in CINDERELLA, Jack in JACK AND THE BEANSTALK and Sammy in SLEEPING BEAUTY (Anthem Productions).

Television/Film – Jason McGuire in FAIR CITY (RTE). Patrick McManus in MARÚ (TG4). Con in THE CON SAW TINA EFFECT (Bluesoup Productions & Screaming Monkey Productions )

Karl is also the voice of Keano on the Original Soundtrack for I, KEANO and has performed a number of times with the RTE CONCERT ORCHESTRA.

Directing Credits include The Sleeping Beauty Pantomime with Anthem Productions in Liberty Hall Theatre and The Sleeping Beauty in the Helix, for TheatreWorx Productions, which he also wrote. Later this year, Karl returns to The Helix where he will be writing and Directing CINDERELLA.
