Hugh O' Donnell | Chester

Hugh took a sabbatical from his acting career to concentrate on writing. His novel 11 Emerald Street achieved critical acclaim and hit the bestseller list. Past theatre credits include a six month run of One For The Road by Willie Russell at the Eblana Theatre, his one-man show Saints and Sinners that achieved critical acclaim at both the Dublin and Edinburgh Theatre Festivals, Laska in Leonardo’s Last Supper with the late Anna Manahan in Andrews lane and the narrator in The Good Doctor also at Andrews lane Theatre. Before taking to the stage Hugh worked as a stockbroker in Dublin.
