Hope Brown studied the Stanislavski Method at the Focus Theatre, Dublin under the late Deirdre O'Connell. Since then, he has performed in over forty plays and films in the U.S. and Europe, and worked regionally in the U.S with such noted directors Richard Corley and Jared Sakrin. Theatre roles include The Undertaking (Stadsschouwburg National Theatre, Holland), Fabulation or the Re-education of Undine and The Story (The Black Theatre Troup, Arizona), and Jesus Hopped the A -Train (Focus Theatre, Dublin). Shakespearean roles for Hope include Orsino in Twelfth Night (Classic Stage, Ireland), Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet (Cork Opera House), Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing (Green Light Productions), The Duke in The Merchant of Venice (Second Age Theatre Co.), Macduff in Macbeth and Mark Antony in Julius Caesar (Southwest Shakespeare Theatre, Arizona). Film and Television credits include Waiting to Exhale (20th Century Fox); Terminal Velocity (Hollywood Pictures); In America (Hell's Kitchen, Dir. Jim Sheridan); Custer's Last Stand (BBC), Yesterday's Children (CBS); Val Falvey (RTE); and the award-winning series Joe Denial. As a voiceover artist, Hope is the recipient of the Brandon Guild Gold Award for "Citi Bank” and the ICAD Silver Award for "Mars Delight". He is a member of Equity and SAG, and proud father of Ayela.
